It is important to the staff of
Pointe Coupee General Hospital that you understand the pain scale as an
important part of pain management. We will ask you to rate your pain on
a scale of 0 to 10 with 0 meaning “no pain at all” and 10 meaning
“worst pain imaginable”. You may also be asked to refer to other scales
to assist us in managing your pain.
