Pointe Coupee General Hospital is a progressive non-profit, publicly owned critical access hospital located on the banks of beautiful False River in New Roads, LA.  The hospital is governed by nine commissioners who are appointed by the Pointe Coupee Parish Police Jury.

The hospital is part of a twenty-three acre campus that provides home health,  physician offices, mental health, public health, the sanitation office, substance abuse counseling and council on aging.
