Valerie Jarreau, RN, MSN

Valerie Sparks Jarreau, RN, BSN, was named Director of Nursing, Chief Nursing Officer, on December 1, 2015.
Valerie is a 1984 graduate of Livonia High School and 1995 graduate of LSU-Eunice where she obtained an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and was a Member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and the Student Nurse Association. She later earned a BSN in Nursing from Northwestern State University in 2014 and earned a Masters Degree in Nursing Administration from NSU in 2016.
Valerie began her career at PCGH in 1995 where she worked in various roles including staff nurse, charge nurse, and the nurse manager of the PCGH operating room and outpatient procedures department. Valerie has been actively involved in the State Survey, the Joint Commission Accreditation, and the Federal Validation of the Joint Commission Survey.
