Ashley Doucet Bordelon, MD, Newly Appointed Chief of Staff

 

Ashley Doucet Bordelon, MD, began practicing internal medicine with her father, Dr. Donald Doucet, at the Baton Rouge Clinic in New Roads in the summer of 2015.

 

Pointe Coupee General Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Ashley Doucet Bordelon, MD, as the new Chief of Staff. The appointment was made by the medical staff of Pointe Coupee General Hospital earlier this month.

Chad Olinde, PCGH Administrator stated, "We are excited about the appointment of Dr. Bordelon as Chief of Staff. Pointe Coupee General is fortunate to have such a dedicated physician to work with hospital staff to insure the highest quality of care.”

Dr. Bordelon attended Louisiana State University for her undergraduate degree, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2008. She earned her Medical Degree from the LSU Health Sciences Center-New Orleans in 2012. Dr. Bordelon performed her Residency in Internal Medicine at the Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA.

In the summer of 2015 she began practicing internal medicine with her father, Dr. Donald Doucet, at the Baton Rouge Clinic in New Roads. Dr. Bordelon is also the current Medical Director and physician for Pointe Coupee Hospice. She is also a member of the American College of Physicians, the Louisiana State Medical Society, and the Pointe Coupee Parish Medical Society.

Dr. Bordelon is a native and resident of New Roads and a graduate of Catholic of Pointe Coupee. Congratulations Dr. Bordelon.
