The Sisters of St. Joseph Medical Plaza opened on September 22, 2015, and is the home of Our Lady of the Lake physicians.

The Sisters of St. Joseph Medical Plaza at Pointe Coupee General Hospital has now been in operation for one year!

Construction of the 11,000 ft² (1,020 m²) clinic began in late 2014. It is home to five family practice physicians and a nurse practitioner who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of illnesses and medical issues.

PCGH Administrator Chad Olinde and Laboratory Manager Yvette Major Garrett announced that the new lab is providing 24 hour a day, 7 day a week lab services to meet the needs of the emergency room, as well as, patients admitted to the hospital.

For outpatient lab services, the lab is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday from 7:00 AM until 12:00 PM.

My staff and I are excited to work in the new state of the art lab in order to service the local health care community and we will continue to work to ensure efficiency and accuracy in all of our outpatient lab services.
