The Pointe Coupee Health Services District № 1 board of directors invited the public to attend Pointe Coupee General Hospital’s 50th anniversary on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at noon with a reception to follow at the Sisters of St. Joseph Conference Room (“the Chapel”).

Fifty Years of Serving Pointe Coupee

Since being founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1969, Pointe Coupee General Hospital has been dedicated to providing excellent healthcare to our community. During the last 50 years, we have expanded our hospital to provide the most innovative and comprehensive services to our patients. Pointe Coupee General Hospital’s tradition of caring and its commitment to the surrounding communities has made it one of Louisiana’s best rural hospitals.

A proud recipient of the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for their Critical Access Hospital Accreditation Program, the hospital has over 200 employees and healthcare professionals who utilize modern equipment and state-of-the- art technology.
